Our wines

Passatella

This wine is the first to come out of the vintage, in red and rosé, and takes its name from the ancient card game called Passatella that is still played in the bars of Casacalenda.

Torre-Kalena

This wine has Montepulciano as the predominant grape variety, produced in red and rosé. The name comes from the ancient tower located on the top of the hill, near where the vines are located.

The harvest is carried out by hand and the grapes are collected in vented harvest bins. The grapes are immediately sent to the cellar where they are completely destemmed and then crushed. The must then ferments with the pomace in neutral wooden vats.

Once the alcoholic fermentation is finished, the pomace is pressed, and the wine returns to the vats where it will mature for approximately 18 months before bottling.

Depending on the vintage, the vines that most characterize this wine are Tintilia and Montepulciano, with a small percentage of Aglianico.

The grapes are selected from the best plots. Once they arrive in the cellar they are destemmed, crushed, and pressed immediately. The must then ferments in 500 L neutral oak barrels, where it will remain until bottling without being filtered.

Montepulciano and Aglianico are the vines that most characterize this blend and, depending on the vintage, a small percentage of Tintilia will never missing.
